Word has spread fast and alot have already heard the good news, but for all those who don’t know yet we received the results of Gray’s biopsy this week from the hospital. We are so happy to report that the biopsy came back showing that all of Gray’s tumors are dead and there are no living cancer cells in his tissue!!!! Hallelujah!!!! Words simply can’t describe the weight that is lifted from a parent’s shoulders the moment you hear news like that!!!! I mean, really, it’s the best news a mom or dad could possibly receive!!!! The nurse did explain that while the chemo treatments are working and Gray’s tumors are no longer living, cancerous cells he still has to finish out his entire treatment plan. We wish that wasn’t the case but it’s for the health of our baby boy. With any cancer, but with neuroblastoma specifically, the cancer can be growing in another area without the doctor’s knowing or could be living in areas they can’t see. So, just to be certain, Gray will continue to undergo his sixth round of chemo followed by his stem cell transplant and further treatment  after that. While the road ahead is still long and the realistic, human side of us knows that at any moment Gray’s prognosis could change and with one simple phone call we could very easily be back in a desperate fight for our babies life at this moment we have to rejoice in our good news! We have to force ourselves to live in today! It’s a good day!!! Gray went in for his pre-chemo blood tests yesterday and his counts were really good! So, this morning we took Gray into the hospital to be admitted for his sixth round of chemo. This treatment is five days. We want to thank you so much for your continued prayers! We truly believe they are being answered! God is healing our little boy! We still stand on the promise that Gray’s cancer and this trial in our families life is being and will continue to be used for God’s glory and his glory alone! Please continue to pray and continue to share Gray’s story. And above all give God the glory! Thank you Jesus for what you’re doing in our babies life in thank you for using him to reach so many. You are our healer!
